IS IT TIME TO REPLACE YOUR OLD FIBERGLASS INSULATION?AND GET AN ATTIC VAC DONE?

Fiberglass insulation batts have been around for many years, and was one of the only insulation products available to home owners for decades, so the choice for people wanting to insulate their homes was limited and at the time the only option.
Many of the homes we inspect these days have dirty, old and quite often rat infested fiberglass insulation in the roof cavities, and the fiberglass batts have often been disturb by various trades ie plumbers, electricians etc. The old insulation has generally deteriorated to a point, that the only safe and healthy option is to remove it and vacuum the roof space of dust and debris and rat droppings and start over. Having an attic vac done is a wise move.we use a custom made ceiling sucker vacuum machine.
After removal and vacuuming the roof cavity, we recommend our customers replace with polyester insulation to there roof space, because advancements in technology has now made a product safe enough to use in pillows on your bed, to be cost effectively installed in your roof.
