Polyester insulation is a thermal bonded insulation material used for domestic and commercial insulation applications. Greenstuf polyester is made from 100% polyester fibre.There are no additives or other components used in the manufacturing process.
Polyester insulation is non -irritant, odourless, non toxic, fire safe, non allergenic and water resistant. POLYESTER INSULATION is dust free with no respiratable fibres and is an ideal insulation choice for health conscious consumers

ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE: Greenstuf polyester insulation will perform as an acoustic material in a construction system, by providing a sound absorbing factor in the construction cavity. Typical improvement in sound transmission (STC) through a wall is 6-8 points on stc of the construction system without insulation eg: STC 35 +6 = 41 STC

CORROSIVENESS: When tested in accordance with NZ 4222, Greenstuf polyester is classified as non -corrosive. The pH IS 7.8 (7 is neutral)

MAX SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 160C
