Why Clean your Roof Cavity and Replace your old Insulation? vacuuming and removal

During the past decades, a myriad of questionable insulation products have been used in homes all across Sydney, many of these products were in loose form, one in particular - SMFs or Synthetic Mineral Fibers was used extensively over the past 50 years. These fibers can cause respiratory problems and with the introduction of downlights, vents and exhaust fans, these fibers along with a build up of high concentrations of toxic dusts including lead, can now find a path directly into your home, contaminating the air you breath! Strict guidelines and requirements are now in place for the handling and disposal of SMFs and dust containing lead.
We think its important that ASTHMA and allergy sufferers have their roof spaces cleaned. If you are replacing your Insulation or installing new installation get your roof cleaned during the work, especially if you plan to install ventilators or any roof storage.
Pesticides, dead vermin (rats), decomposing leaf matter, dried leaves on old wiring (fire hazards) strange odours, mould, the list goes on (they could be in your home!) Get a respirator and a pair of gloves and take a look for yourself, if it looks dirty and unhealthy or unsafe call us…
